Question - Do Colors affect your mood?

Topic - Colors and Moods

Background Information - "Like death and taxes, there is no escaping color. It is ubiquitous. Yet what does it all mean? Why are people more relax in green rooms? Why do weightlifters do their best in blue gyms? Colors often have different meaning in various cultures. And even in Western societies, the meanings of various colors have changed over the years. But today in the U.S., researchers have generally found the following to be accurate." http://www.infoplease.com/spot/colors1.html

"Color, effect produced on the eye and its associated nerves by light waves of different wavelength or frequency. Light transmitted from an object to the eye stimulates the different color cones of the retina, thus making possible perception of various colors in the object." http://www.infoplease.com/ce6/sci/A0812936.html

"Our minds are influenced by many visual cues. Our perception of color in the world can influence our mood. The following is a list of colors and their psychological associations. As personal tastes vary, some individuals may be affected differently by some colors (in particular, those who are color blind concerning red and green) and it is wise to experiment with different hues and keep track of how they correspond to your mood to find how "color therapy" can work for you."
